Remember

Being unwanted, unloved, uncared for, forgotten by everybody, I think that is a much greater hunger, a much greater poverty than the person who has nothing to eat.
Mother Teresa

Where 2011 leaves and 2012 begins we must remember, there are many people with tremendous losses. Devastations have surrounded their families for the entire year. Many of us have maintained some stablity, while others have not. Earthquakes, floods, fires, just to name a few have ripped through communities, and left millions homeless and displaced.

I loved this quote Mother Teresa believed that those who are unloved, unwanted, uncared for and forgotten is much greater than poverty than those who have nothing to eat. I believe that feeling alone and isolated is devastating. What comes to mind is what can I do this up coming year to bring a little joy to someone? It is a question we must all consider. It is my hope in 2012 that our resolutions, resolves, restructuring will include opening the doors for someone who has sadness in their eyes and troubles in their hearts. It just might be sharing your business with others and explaining the benifits to them.
