Positive Affirmations

Motivating self and others takes enthusiasm. Positive Affirmations that contributes to your very existence. Developing excitement in your business and personal like is important
to the survival of your business and family. For example in business, you make a call to the prospect they answer the phone and your voice tones are low, you appear unmotivated, and lack confidence. Before you know it, your prospect says thank you for calling.

Here is a few tips to motivate yourself and the prospect. Raise your voice by 10, speak with a strong cheerful voice. For example: Mr. Smith, Carolyn here, I see you have a interest in my business? I'd like to see if I can help you reach your goals and achieve your dreams. Your next step, is to assess the prospects needs. In order to help people, you must identify their need.

Your role is to listen not a lot of talking but, guiding the phone call. Many of us miss this important step of listening. We become interested in hearing ourselves talk and we miss identifying the needs of the prospect. You must become the master of mastery in helping people achieve their dreams. I bet you're asking yourself what if they don't want to speak to me? Good question, tell the prospect I see this is not a good time fur you, grab a pen and write this website down, take a look, it may or may not work for you I will call you in a week 6pm works for you right? Be sure you speak in a positive voice, stay focused and motivated.

Remember haviing positive affirmations before you make the call will give you the confidence needed to complete your goal.

  1. Another thing to consider is to ask the prospect as soon as you mentioned the purpose of your call, "Is this a bad time?" Because if it is then you are giving him the option of getting out of it and you respect his time.

It also sorts the people who want to work with us out. If it is a bad time then ask him "What time do you want me to contact you?" Like that you are showing him that you are a person with posture and do not want to waste anyones time.

And tell him before you leave that if something comes up on my end I will call you so that you do not wait for me and I would appreciate if you would do the same thing for me as well.

  2. Hi Carolyn,

Affirmations are powerful. There's always something magical that happens when you start saying words like I will instead of I'll try. Today, instead of some day. All words have powerful meanings behind them!

  3. You hit the nail on the head. So many times we want to tell our side of the story instead of listening to what the other person needs help with. In order to be a better mentor we have to listen to the entire situation in order to understand what we can do to help the next person.
