The challenge is to identify our niche. This is challenging. Have you identified your passion? I enjoy encouraging and edifying others, this brings me joy. Faith shares important points like what is unique about your offer? I like this because it stretches creative thinking. It further discusses branding yourself, adding your personal touch, and style coupled with skills. One example of branding if target through their red logo the style of the logo image, and song. I believe our branding is key in determining our followers.

Another important point Faith identifies is: Identifying your target audience. Who will your information attract? This is an important step in developing your niche. Key point cater to the needs of your target audience. This article is packed with great information. It is useful in the development of your business. Everyone want clients and prospects, building foundational processes will help move your niche forward. A good question to ask oneself, Why should I buy your product.

What does it mean to have the right attitude?  Attitude, beliefs and values often play a role in our decisions making.  5 important attitudes to have when building a home based business.

This quote is significant butterfly’s take off smoothly they glide through the air then has a fantastic landing.  Thy never know what awaits them and yet they move through territories unfamiliar with confidence. Confidence and competency link together.  Competency, how many times have you visited a store or shopping mall and you asked the floor clerk were an item is located?  They point to a direction causing you to ask down there? And the clerk says yes or states, I’m not sure and disappears.  This is so disappointing.  I would rather have someone who says “I’m not sure where it is located but, lets’ look together.  Confidence and competency vital to the success to internet marketing

Believing in your-self is very important.  The success of a business takes tenacity, and self-motivation.  To move your business from one level to another it is recommended that you remain focus, and develop the drive to continue each day.    I received a call today from an associate a young man building his Network Marketing business, very excited about his new business venture; he shared the particulars with me and asked if I had any questions.  This young man’s excitement, drive and motivation stirred me up and I became excited for him.    He talked so fast sharing all he could get in about his business.  The joy of the call came from his self-confidence and motivation.   We must believe and have confident in what we are doing.  Confidence keeps you focused and on track. 

Eliminating fear is a challenge that we’ve faced or facing right now.  Fear will prevent one from exploring their options.  Fear will tell you this is too hard and cannot be done.  Fear will cause one to put the idea and dreams on hold.  Fear will cause your Internet marketing business to fold now that fear has miscalculated and fear got it wrong.  When fear rises speak to fear and move it from the focus of your business.

 Act on your dreams, be innovative, creative ideas that bring joy to your heart but also have potential to bring residual income to you and your family.  Remember, believe, have confidence, delete fear, act on your dreams and develop creative innovation.  Business is a challenge; turn your challenges into a successful venture.

Mentoring-Pick a part my brain

Mentoring is a brain to pick, an ear to listen, and a push in the right direction.

Each of us needs a good listening ear, a push in the right direction and a brain to pick.  Don’t you agree?  Direction, many of us use some type of navigational system such as MapQuest.  This tool pulls up directions to a particular place.  When we input the information, map populates directions.  Sometimes it is right on target and others times it will lead you the wrong way.  Mentoring is similar.  A mentor pushes you to the right directs.  But, just like the navigational system, what you provide to the mentor will determine whether the right directions are given.

Giving the right directors means you know your objective, goals and strategies.  The mentor will assist you, guide and encourage you.  For example, I’m a Registered Nurse who happens to love Network Marketing.  My goal is to create opportunities for people who are looking for an Internet marketing business.  The strategies I use include advertising, blogging, videos, and quotes.  I pick the brain of my mentor quite often, but I also call just to check in.  I believe this is important.  Checking in to say hello enhances the relationship.

Mentors have a good listening ear.  Mentors are ready to assist your growth.  They are encourager's and take pleasure in watching you succeed.  In nursing mentors and preceptors differ.  Preceptors, train, demonstrate and guide your performance. 

 Preceptors ensure that a nurse is equipped to manage patient care in a particular setting.  Mentors on the other had push and guide the goals you have set up to advance.  For example, I’m interested in decreasing the readmission rate of chronically ill patients with Congestive Heart Failure.  The mentor I have for this area is an advance MSN (Masters of Science in Nursing).  She is guiding and pushing my goals, objectives and strategies.  I’m a MSN student at this time and need mentoring by an expert in the field of nursing.

On the other hand, I also have a mentor for business.  My mentor has over 20 plus years in network marketing, has a listening ear, allows me to pick her brain and advises me in the direction that I have chosen.

Mentors are expert in the field.  Like MapQuest, if the wrong information is imputed then the directions provide just might take you off course.  Strategies organization and plan before meeting your mentor are important.  Let the work will begin to your success.

Self- Effacing

In part 2 we discussed how Glasow thinking abilities afforded him a 60 year business as an American Humorist bringing joy to the world through humor.  Glasow is also known for self-effacing.  Self-effacing is one who keeps in the background, usually modest and tends not to drawn attention to themselves (www.thefreeddictionary.com).

Glasow love to give of himself.  For 93 years up until he passed away he remind loyal to his followers.  In part 2 it was stated he wrote his first book at age 90.  This speaks to his passion and drive.  To write a book at age 90 says a lot.  Many of our elderly population develop thinking processes which suggest “I’m done, old and who will need me, there is nothing else for me to do.”

Wrong attitude it is a new beginning another chapter of your life.  One way to begin your new life is starting a home-based business.  Get involve with your community, assist an activity director in the local senior center.  If you don’t have health challenges that interfere with your involvement step it up and keep moving.  Having a generous spirit means inside your heart and soul you have the compassion to help others.  Giving of your-self in forms that help others succeed.

Generous Spirit

God is so generous to us.  He gives us the spirit of generosity and wants us to utilize it by being motivated into action.   We all live off his generous bounty, gift after gift after gift John 1:16.
The gifts given to us should be used to edify and build each other.  The gift of generosity is one gift we need.  In our current businesses we all give free products and services.  This is to help new affiliates get started.  An important concept to remember involves follow up.

I received an email from a new affiliate that stated the following: “Thank you for your email welcoming me to the business, often no one ever gets back or call.”  Wow, I thought.  Follow up is very important and a necessary method in business.

A generous spirit  develops a humble heart, and promotes kindness.  These are qualities to embrace.  It is very difficult to work with others who lack humility, kindness and are always angry.  In addition to a generous spirit is patient’s.  We all struggle with patients.  My mentor brought this out on one of our session.  During the instructions, I had demonstrated an impatient moment towards myself because I was not getting what was taught.  A mentoring heart Terri Pattio said calmly “Be patient you are learning.”  These simple words settled my anxiety and allowed me to refocus, and hear the instructions.

Often times in our daily activities something triggers an anxious moment.  It is very important to reduce anxiety and increase patients so learning can take place.  Tug yourself and take a step back, look clearly at that which is causing anxiety and change the behavior immediately.  Why? Because you’ll need to keep focused.

Glasow ignored the spot light.  He remained in the background and yet made an impact on the lives of many.  In our Internet marketing business we can make an impact too by sharing, giving and helping others. Don't be surprise when your generosity returns to you in an awesome way.

I imagine a rainbow covering a portion of the sky feeling it with colors that represent so many things for me.  See I’ve been taught that every time you see a rainbow it is a reminder of God.  He led his people out of bondage.  I get really choked up with the thought of barriers that hinder our progress.  Rainbows are so full of wonders.  Rainbows work in a natural beautiful effect. The colors display a perfect band with bows that develop form. That form is intrigue the eye.

Rainbows come after a storm it a phenomenon of light, its perception by the physical senses and the conceptual mind which produces the appearance of spectral band of colors. (Wikiquote).

Somewhere over the rainbow way up high there is a land called marketing, it is multifaceted with dimensions that run wide and deep.  Its’ integral parts include networking, and making connection.   This amazing band of rainbows stimulates the field of communication leaving many speechless.  The surrounding parts include colorful bands that are so strong that nothing negative can penetrate.  As the marketing rainbow flows from city to state from state to country it leaves the colors dripping and array of beautify. 

Business leaders all over the world engulf the multiple flavors that flow freely from each strand.   The troubles that come along with business melt away by the sweetness of the rainbow that is way up high.  The storm that blew everything you owned away returns with a variety of magic and wonder.  The spectral band of colors flow freely coast to coast brightening the day.  The rainbow colors that can illuminate the sky are amazing leaving excitement, and adventure along the way.

I was listening to somewhere over the rainbow song by Eva Cassidy her sultry voice and smooth sound engulfed my imagination.  I was surrounded by fields of green tall grass, sun rising and I looked up high in the sky and a beautiful rainbow hovered over me.  It put a smile on my face that would brighten a darken room.  I like a peaceful matter of doing business one where its ok to make mistakes and correct them.  I know I’m not perfect but I walk towards perfection..  The rainbow that is somewhere way up high gives a sense of joy.

The Star-Desiring A Star Quality

The way we communicate with others and with ourselves ultimately determines the quality of our lives.

Quality, I imagine a line that is numbered from one to ten along this line lays a star quality this line tilts depending on communication styles. An understanding of quality will help balance the line. The distinctive characteristic needed to increase ones star quality includes a level of excellence we must achieve.

A star quality begins with an examination of whom we are and why we exist.  Many of us have difficulty with self-examination. What we remember is what others have said our star quality is or should be.  Today I challenge you to stretch your imagination. Where do you see yourselves in five to ten years? Sit back and travel a journey with me.

Louise Suggs one of the first stars of female golf she played golf in 1923.  On January 8^th she wins the LPGA LA Golf Open. Now imagine in 1923 a little girl tells her parents, “I want to play golf.”  In 1923 women were to marry have children and stay home. The wealthy during this time expected their children to become doctors and/or lawyers not a golfer. Louise Suggs had a star quality. She imagined at an early age to enter the golfing world.

Just like Florence Nightingale, she expressed to her parents the she would become a nurse and it raised eyebrows. Now, Florence was born into wealth and the thoughts of becoming a nurse were unheard of. Her father was disappointed in the decision she made but she persevered and developed nursing concepts that would be taught in nursing schools around the globe. Discipline, tenacity, and drive are key ingredients to begin the makings of a star quality person.

Wiktionary defines quality as the level of excellence it is determined by health, education and income. Now, this definition begins with health. A star quality person develops a healthy mind and avoids negativities by holding up the shield of faith that quenches every fiery dart.  Education will increase the understanding and prepare it gives us the tools necessary to increase our leverage in all that we do. Equipping the saints with discernment and wisdom, I believe that the beginning wisdom is knowledge.

In order to improve in internet marketing, business knowledge is necessary. Better chooses are made in business when knowledge leads the way.  Income is necessary here on earth. To increase streams of income we must have an understanding of stewardship. You can have all the money in the world but if you don’t know how to manage money, it will fly away like a bird.

A Star quality is achieved when you believe in yourself, prepare with education and, embracing a healthy mind. Equipping yourself with tools to move your business up a level, the challenge today examine yourselves and determine your star quality.

who’s behind the mask? We all were many faces and often time mask are worn because we are afraid to show others who we really are and what we are about.

Mask hides what we think and feel it can be as colorful as you’d like. We decorate our mask with colors that attract the eye of others but behind the mask lie’s dishonesty, deceit and distrustful ideas to con, take advantage and rip the heart of others.

Business mask should be honest, humble, and helpful having the right attitude and behavior. Good business loves people. Business believes people are needed for its success. It does not set up scenes that snare and trap others. It guides and offers sure and proven plans.

Love mask is kind, caring, and willing to share ideas that improve what others are doing. It is not mean, impatient, cruel and belittling. The love mask sees the potential of others and pulls their gifts forward.

Believe it or not people change their mask daily. They take care of their mask, protect it and prepare to wear it the following day. The mask you were today will determine your attitude and behavior.

We’ve talked about patients yesterday, I believe this is a topic that each of us need.  The mask of impatient is short, bites, flips people off, wants everything available right now, and does not listen to others and often times finishes the sentence for them. This mask is always in a hurry, doesn’t have time for others and not willing to help. Usually this mask is worn all the time and is never taken off.

The mask of knowing everything, I know you have met someone like this. You can’t get a word in edgewise; they constantly are talking, have an opinion on every subject and discount everything someone says. This type of mask will drive you nuts. You need a lot of patients with this masked person.

The masked of defeat, nothing is going right, I can’t do it, it won’t work, I’ve tried everything, no one will help me. Very fatiguing nothing you say to this mask will change what is believed by them. A defeated foe must be willing to change their attitude and behavior.

The mask of love takes off the mask and reveals its true self. It is not afraid what others will think, it embraces newness, it allows others to approach them with honesty, truth and caring. The mask is not placed on once removed because the fear that caused the mask to be worn is gone.
