Strings that dangle
When someone is controlling, what do you do? A controlling person is difficult to be around. There are many people challenged daily. If you are a controlling person, who believes nothing is wrong, think again. Controlling others through intimidation, and manipulation are character flaws. Controlling people love and audience, the more people, the better. Struggling with inner self esteem is the root, and the branches hold these fruits; Outburst, temper tantrums, believing you are the problem, and pointing out your inadequacies. What a pill to swallow.
OUTBURST
Controlling people rarely have a good listening ear. Their defense wall is up before you arrive. The question becomes: Is this normal in the minds of a controlling person? Controlling and diminishing the value of others is a problem. But, for the controller it is the name of the game. Outburst can occurs at any time. It's the knee jerk response to everything.Egg shell walking is the roll for the controlled. If you tip toe and walk on eggshells, how's that working for you? One would quest not good.
TEMPER TANTRUMS
Oh boy here comes the fit attach. Beware, throwing nasty words and tearing down your confidence is coming. What strategies do you implement when controlling people have temper tantrums? It is not easy dealing with outburst and temper tantrums. This is exhausting. Boundaries are the keys in changing the way one approaches and speaks to
you..Just imagine your key ring dangling every time the controller yells, screams or demean you. It would distract the controller immediately. Set boundaries.
THE PROBLEM
So often controlling people, believe the controlled person is the problem. A controlling persons common words include; It's because of you, if you had not, why did you make me, see what you've done, and I told you. The controller dose not compliment. They will point out your flaws. When your flaws are pointed out, the controllers flaws and inadequacies are not exposed. Recognizing their own issue is not a priority, after all perfection is their model.
Learning how to recognize controlling people will help you change how you deal with them. Below is a link to a post on recognizing a controlling person. Leave a comment below, I would live to read your views on this topic.

Ice City Freezes Attitudes and Excludes Others
The Ice House Freeze City
I describe Ice City as a place where self-centered people live. their street lamp, light up the signs with words like: I'm first avenue, what about me boulevard, and stay off my side Circle Drive. The citizens here promote self-centered businesses. Any services that benefit themselves is acceptable. Ice House has no leaders or rulers. there commonalties include maintaining, and promote self.
The image is only for the noses
Have you every visited someone living in this city? Perhaps waved hello in passing? These citizen have attitudes that exclude you. Ice cool coffee is sweeter than those who live there. Where blends of Cafe' Ole brings a smile to most , not to these citizen. The characteristic of those privileged to live in Ice city include: dry faced, no smiles, cold shoulder, and no eye contact. They never take the time to stop and ask anyone what they are doing, or how's it going? I'm sure you are wondering what is this post about?
I'm glad you asked it's about people who's nose is stuck in the air, lack courtsey, and will not give you the time of day. They are never interested in what you are doing. Like some friends we have. You call them and the entire conversation is about them. And, right before you hang up the phone, they ask you, how are the kids? You say fine and the friends says ok speak soon and hangs up. There are business leaders the same way cut you off, speak only to their success and never ask you how's your business, and do you need help.

middle. Remember this illustration only speaks to those people who are cold hearted and only think of themselves on every level. I'm sure it is not you? What are your thoughts?

Disciipline: Lukewarm-Financial Check up
A Financial Check up Have you made an appointment?
Others live on in a careless and lukewarm state - not appearing to fill Longfellow's measure: 'Into each life, some rain must fall.'
Mary Todd Lincoln
Hello, Carolyn Coleman –Grady here today I thought to myself are you lukewarm living in a careless state. I had to truthful answer perhaps in some areas in my life I am. We all get a little lukewarm and careless. What is great about recognizing these careless acts are self-reflections, self- examination? It takes discipline to really delve into our own carelessness. Many people decide to ignore this area. When we ignore a careless area in our lives the careless behaviors repeat it-self.
In my previous blog, I spoke about the salesman who offered
the lawn man a new way of cutting his lawn but he was so ridged in his decision
he continued to use the bladed mower which took 5 hours to complete lawn. The consideration and possibilities of an
updated lawn mower was out of the questions.
The careless ridged thoughts of some will prevent progress. Now his
decision not to change or upgrade could become a careless decision for example:
We all know that over time blades rust.
When blades rust the risk of an injury like cutting your hands while
pulling excess grass out of the blade is careless and the long term effect of a
cut such as this one could become a problem.
It sounds fairly simple but it happens.
Careless decisions about our finances take place daily, many
of us rob Peter to pay Paul constantly struggling to make since out of
financial disability. I call it financial
disability because it renders you depended on others for income. Boring, taking out loans, credit cards ect. What you do to create financial disabilities could
leave you in a suspended state. The
strategies used to disarm your financial wows must be strategic. In a strategic
move you disarm the opponent. You
develop a movement that creates a winning outcome.
To win you must play.
If you sit in the same chair the same way you will get up the same way
and nothing will change. It is important
to rid your lives of carelessness attitudes, behaviors and perceptions. Hot or cold lukewarm each has its unwelcome
place.
Nothing diminishes anxiety faster than action.”
-Walter Anderson
If you are suspended between hot, cold
and lukewarm battle until a balance occurs.
