The safe course

Faith in oneself is the best and safest course.
Michelangelo

I was wondering how does one have faith in themselves. With daily failures and questions about the future, it seems impossible to believe in oneself. Well, that's the clique many would hope as a people we believe. Let us take it a little deeper. Faith, what does this really mean? Faith strong believe in someone or something (www.merrian-webster.com/dictionay/fatih)
The question becomes: If Faith in oneself is the best and safest course, would it be fair to say without faith your course is unsafe?
Having strong faith in self comes with lots of responsibilities. It includes making good decisions, remaining loyal to the cause and understanding when the course you've taken is unsafe. Having faith in what you decide to do requires investigation before you leap the wrong way.

Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of  things not seen (Hebrews 11;1 KJV). The core of the matter, is unbelief, and lack of  hope in the evidence that is not seen. For example: A family out of control, is  decline rapidly, no improvement in sight. How does one have faith to change an uncontrolled environment into a control one? when there are  fighting, fussing, yelling and screaming daily? One way to change this uncontrolled environment is to take full authority. Set boundaries immediately. Discontinue leaking words that breed death to the families core and began  saying words that speak life. No longer are words used like you will amount to nothing, try saying the way you fix this is great OR, the way you expressed your feeling today showed maturity great job.
Having the faith to know that your action and examples will influence any situation is a sign of maturity.
What is the point of conversation if every time it becomes a battle. One, daily battling is exhausting, it creates hopelessness , and it shreds away trust. The question becomes, Where is your faith? Are you willing to look beyond what you see and hold on to what has not manifested yet? Will you change your perception and tie the cords of  faith around you? It is about renewing the mind and not fearing change.
There was a question posted on Facebook: What is the difference between leader and stubborn? Share your thoughts? Take a leap of faith belief In oneself prepare by renewing the mind. Spending energy on what ifs, will not work. What if and worry, belong in the land of doubt. Stay off this landmine it will destroy you. No matter what it looks like, take action immediately and change. I leave you with this thought: So a man thinks, so he is. What are you thinking today.

Oh, My another decision to make:Help I'm torn

C.S. Lewis
“Crying is all right in its way while it lasts. But you have to stop sooner or later, and then you still have to decide what to do.”
― C.S. LewisThe Silver Chair.

HEY help I'm drowning over here.
I remember my first divorce, what a tragedy at least it appeared that way.  My life became a storm roller coaster with only one rider me. Oh how I cried. Speak about decisions, could not decide to make one. I cried for weeks. I was pregnant and did not know how or what the future held. One evening my dad entered what I called the crying room. He opens the door softly, and with his comforting voice he said, "don't you think you've cried enough." My dad closed the door. As I laid their hearing the sound of his voice, the tears began to dry up. Could it be my subconscious mind absorbed his question? I am not sure but, it spoke to my spirit and my heart heard it. The beginning of a new chapter began, as one ended.
What I decided, decisions become challenging when our life is in a world wind.  Thinking is no longer the priority, and leaving important things undone happens too. The question becomes: How does one recover and stop the roller coaster? Will it be easy? No, are there times when isolation and despair take over yes! The question becomes, What becomes of your life after tragedy strikes? Let's address the first question, to stop any roller coaster you have to decide it's time to stop. Once you make a decision to stop, it will be time to get off. Taking that first step to unleash yourself is difficult but, a must.
What a breath of fresh air when the roller coaster stops, the ground may feel quite shaky so brace yourself. Will you have intermittent sorrow? Absolutely, but know that life goes on and living is a must. At, least for me it was. Tragedy will hit each of us in one way or another it is apart of life. In order to recover one must exams self, and reorganized daily activities. New beginnings are a great place to start. Learning how to balance activity and rest are key component during recovery. You may need to consider counseling too. Learn how to identify happiness, keep hope alive and begin living again. Was it rough for me to start again? Absolutely, but after the tears stop flowing, my decisions and choices became clear and I finally embraced hope. It's OK to cry for a time but after you stop crying you will need to make a decision. Here's to healthy decisions.
