- Kareem Abdul-Jabbar
Great players are willing to give up their own personal achievement for the achievement of the group. It enhances everybody. To give up their own personal achievement for the achievement of the group. It enhances everybody. This quote is amazing, it crosses both business and personal lines. Group achievement includes performing the task at hand with the same mindset as it relates to goals, and problem-solving. It takes teamwork, team spirit and team success. Breaking these connections results in poor outcomes. Business owners love great results. Your business should provide you with progressive reports which indicate your business outcomes. - Just like basketball, the stats are the report card of the players performance. Basketball players desire high scores. These stats include shooting, rebounding, assist, steals, turnovers, and free throw percentage just to name a few. What if you developed a report card that indicates your business performance? The question becomes, How is your performance? For example, how often are you engaging with current prospects, and new affiliates? Just like the game of basketball the captain must guide, support and encourage the team. This is an important part of winning the game. What's your business score.
- Developing a winning attitude begins with the coach. For example, a coach must understand discipline, and motivation which in turns inspires, and establish trust. Players must trust their coach, it is an important component of any relationship. Imagine in the days of kareem Abdul-Jabbar or any basketball team, had it not been for adequate coaching the success of the team is rendered ineffective. Similarly like the Lakers at this date and time. However, these inadequacies can turn around with proper guidance, motivation and support.
- Mastering a winning attitude in business takes work. It requires self-motivation, identifying strengths and weaknesses, and a action plan. Basketball players learn their strengths early but, success comes with practice, strategies and a willingness to accept guidance from both the coach and team leaders. A successful business. includes detailed, realistic goals, and plans that create growth. Just as the basketball teams prepare to win, so does the business team. The key is strategies that move your team forward. Taking the ball passing it to your teammates and utilizing the entire court. Basketball players like business owners loss when the game become a one man show. I like to call them hog the ball leaders, this type of player forgets the importance of huddling and including the other team mates.
- A team huddle is very important, it bonds team members and creates close connections. Like groups on facebook, when set-up correctly, each member succeeds. Groups promote traffic, increase potential prospects, and friendship. Team growth is imperative in business. Basketball is so exciting, the energy is high and each team member wants to win. Business owners must have the same winning attitude. Remember this quote
